The ETL Developer will participate on a team of experienced and recent college hire developers and work with application experts, EDW developers and architects on a global basis to ensure that designs and quality are meeting GM requirements to achieve a common goal. This role is responsible for designing and creating code in an Agile manner. The ETL Developer understands ETL and EDW technology. This person will take the project from the initiation phase and see it through deployment. The ETL Developer understands the value of the data being brought into the EDW and the importance of building solutions that matter. Qualifications & Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience. 3+ years development experience with ETL tools (e.g. DataStage, Informatica, others) Experience with SQL and database tools. Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, design documentation, test case development, system & integration testing, custom off the shelf (COTS)/business intelligence (BI) implementations and systems integration. Superior programming skills. Ability to troubleshoot execution challenges in complex projects (application, infrastructure, code quality, data and performance) and enable focused corrective actions to make projects successful. Ability to comprehend complex technology and business problems. Ability to learn new concepts and apply them to solutions. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in configuration management and deployment of developed code.
